One of the globe’s biggest music spectaculars descends on Northern Ireland this summer as Dutch megastar Tiësto brings his Kaleidoscope World Tour to Belfast’s King’s Hall on Saturday 12th June.
An extensive 12 month journey across the planet performing over 150 dates across five continents, Kaleidoscope is an epic live show of visual and aural magnitude presented by one of the most iconic artists on the planet.
If the sell-out concerts that took place throughout America and the UK are anything to go by then the Ireland leg of the tour promises to be one of the most extravagant the country has ever seen.
These shows don’t exceed expectations so much as blow them wide open - revellers will be treated to a truly mesmerizing exhibition of lazers, light shows and massive LED screens as well as sound from one of the most powerful systems ever shipped into the country.
Kaleidoscope is presented by Tiësto aka Tijs Verwest; a producer and performer who has transcended musical genres to create a global ‘Tiësto’ brand, not many DJ/Producers can lay claim having written the music for and performed live at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Olympic Games in Greece to an audience of over four billion people.
Having worked with global superstars like Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado, Faithless and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and with achievements that include a Grammy nomination and numerous MTV awards, not to mention an incredible 1.8 million Facebook fans and even a wax statue at Madame Tussauds, Tiësto has become a universal phenomenon.
Tiësto has been voted the World’s Number 1 DJ three times (DJ Mag Top 100 Poll) and is the only artist ever to sell out a three-month residency at Privilege in Ibiza - playing to 100,000 people last summer! And in the UK he not only sold out dates at the Brixton Academy, Alexandra Palace, the O2 Arena, but last summer sold-out London’s incredible Victoria Park to 25,000 screaming fans.
